Lose 10 pounds in 14 Days! Are you up for it?

Tape MeasureYes you can! All you have to do is follow these three simple rules and you’ll end up about 10 pounds lighter within 2 weeks.

Is it easy?

First, let me say that it amounts to Mind over Matter. I’ll be writing more about that in my up-coming posts. Thoughts become things and you control your own thoughts! So, YES – it’s easy! And I guarantee that you will feel fantastic about yourself for losing 10 pounds in 2 weeks!

Secondly…Are you up for the challenge?  Only you can answer that and if you are…follow these 3 simple steps and promise me that you’ll let me know the results you experienced.

Here are the 3 simple steps to follow:

  1. Understand that Sugar is the “Cocaine” of the food industry so for the next 14 days: Do not eat anything that is white. Do not eat white stuff! That will include white bread, sugar (or any product that contains sugar), white rice, pasta and most milk products. The Exception would be; healthy foods like cauliflower, fish, turkey and chicken.
  2. ONLY DRINK WATER! Nothing Else! If you are a habitual coffee drinker like me, to ward off and withdrawal symptoms you can allow yourself one small cup of (preferably) organic coffee in the morning. Do not add milk or cream (Remember – nothing WHITE)!
  3. Bread is a No-No. No white bread and no wheat bread either. We’re talking only a couple of weeks here. No breads, buns, rolls and definitely no processed foods.

Now before you start this exciting, 2-3 week self-improvement program;

  • Take special note of any aches and pains you may have before you begin.
  • Take a “naked” weight measurement of yourself and write it down.
  • Tell someone else that you are going to do this for support and for someone to be accountable to!
  • Have someone take a before photo of you (before you start). Front, Side & Back.
  • I would like to hear a comment from you – describing how happy you are with the results of this exciting and fun challenge. Let’s do it…”spring” is almost here!!

Follow my above instructions and you can and will lose anywhere from 5 to 10 pounds in 2 to 3 weeks. To almost guarantee total success there are two more items I would like you to include no matter how silly it seems; (1) I want you to mentally focus on this activity and visualize having already lost the weight. I mean think and focus on it with passion 24-7 for the duration and (2) try and walk at a brisk pace for 30 minutes per day for the duration of this 2 week program. The first 3 days are the hardest due to the sugar withdrawals but the rest of the 2-3 weeks will be total fun as you literally watch the pounds fall off!

To your health!

  1. Well Les,

That sounds like a plan but that never worked for me. Nope, I’ve never been able to lose weight that quickly unless I just don’t eat which we know that’s not good for you.

Here’s the thing… Everyone’s body is different and every single weight loss plan I would follow that “most people” had success with, I didn’t. I blame all of that on my Dad because I followed in his footsteps with a lot of stuff. I have a very high tolerance for pain medication so the normal dosage that works for everyone else doesn’t even phase me. And I’m not a big lady either.

I’ve never been able to figure that out but I bet if I were a contestant on the Biggest Loser that I would for once blow the trainers minds not losing the weight on their schedule. My body just doesn’t like to follow “the plan”.

Good thing I don’t need to lose any weight right!

Hey guys, best of luck to you because I know that this works for everyone else. lol…

  2. Hey Adrienne…

Thanks so much for your comments. They are always appreciated and very welcome. I realize first…that this is not for everyone and second… that everyone does not need it.

I never would recommend a “Starvation Diet.” When I say “Only Drink Water” in step number 2…I can see how confusing that may sound. I meant forget about the sodas, the chocolate shakes and even milk and coffee! I did not mean to replace food with water. Sorry about that. That is simply not healthy and is exactly the opposite of what I recommend. I know that it takes about 3 hours for a body to digest your healthy meal and after that, your metabilism begins to slow down. When your metabolism is operating at peak efficiency, you are burning fat cells – if you have them to burn. The trick is to eat more meals but smaller amounts of food. That way, you are causing your metabolism to constantly burn more fat cells. If you do not have any fat cells that your body needs to get rid of – obviously…you won’t be able to burn any.

This plan, diet plan or article might deserve a re-write!! Sorry about that.

  3. Hey Les, this definitely sounds like an interesting challenge to take part in!

I already have a plan to get moving (jogging lightly on a daily basis) but I didn’t think of an actual diet plan to follow and while I’m not too fond of sugar, I do eat sweets from time to time (normally when I have like an attack of “I NEED SUGAR NOW” lol).

Not sure how much kilos/pounds can I shed from this (I used to weight 147lbs when I was in my running prime) but right now I weight about 163lbs so I think that’s a lot and I do feel more sluggish as well.

Anyway, I’ll make sure I stick to this and let you know how it went for me, I’m starting this Monday since I have been practicing to wake up at 5:50am to go running this week so I should be good to go.

    Thanks Les, talk soon! 😉

  4. Hello Sergio –

So you say you’ll start this coming Monday….Well, I don’t run but I do plan on hitting my exercise program a bit harder and on a more regular basis as I should be – starting on Monday as well! So why not challenge each other thus creating a definite need to be more accountable by having to answer to someone else with our results?! We can encourage each other…at least as we both get started down this road to self-improvement and better health. There are maybe even others out there that might want to join in providing us with more incentive for each of us to hit our targets. Yours is 147 Lbs…Mine is 155Lbs and that will be about a 35Lb loss for me!! Yikes!

Thanks and I’ll be checking back soon!
